This is, comment pagination doesn't work as expected, all comments are retrieved. This makes that posts with a lot of comments slow down the site. If you have 5000 comments, and you want to show only 100 comments per page, the 5000 comments are retrieved... Also, I don't personally like threaded comments from a usability point of view.
